It involves removal and patching of bad areas of street surface, milling the bituminous edge next to the gutter, and placing a 2-inch asphalt overlay. Some streets will require spot repairs of manholes, catch basins, water valves and some sections of curb and gutter. Perforated drain tile will be placed under the curb. For structures that have sump pumps, a riser pipe will be installed into each property for direct underground connection into the storm drainage system. The streets involved in this project are Wadsworth Drive from Cameo Drive to north end; Glen Ellen Drive from Hoffman Road to south end; Opal Lane from Glen Ellen Drive to Wadsworth Drive; Cameo Lane from Glen Ellen Drive to west end; Balcerzak Drive from Victory Drive to Warren Street; Warren Street from Riverfront Drive to 5th Street; and Broad Street from Mulberry Street to Madison Avenue.
